Frequently Asked Questions

Why upgrade to lithium batteries?

Upgrading from lead-acid to lithium batteries significantly reduces weight, improving the golf cart’s speed, handling, and range. Lithium batteries require no maintenance, charge faster, and last much longer—typically over 2,000 cycles compared to 500–1,000 for lead-acid. This results in lower long-term costs and a more reliable, faster, efficient ride.

What are the requirements for a street legal cart?

In general, to be street legal, a golf cart needs to have the following:

  • Windshield, turn Signals, hazards, brake lights, tail lights, headlights, license plate holder with light and horn.
  • DOT tires
  • Seat belt for each seat
  • Not be capable to exceed 20 MPH.

We can upfit a cart to meet these requirements upon request.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept MasterCard/Visa, AmEx, Venmo, CashApp or cash (no checks). For credit card transactions, we do include the processing fee of 3%.

How long does it take to customize a golf cart?

The customization process typically takes 2-4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design. Most of our clients select one of our pre-customized carts that are in inventory.

Gas or Electric?

If you want a quiet, low-maintenance, and eco-friendly ride, an electric golf cart is the better choice. Upgrade to lithium batteries for long range and ample power. But if you need more range (25+ miles), power for rough terrain, or don't have easy access to charging, a gas cart might suit you better.

Do you offer maintenance services for all types of carts?

We do not currently provide maintenance services.

Can you make carts go faster?

We do not currently offer speed upgrades for carts. For Club Car 48-volt carts, you can go to an authorized dealer and purchase a speed code upgrade. This unlocks the motor controller and allows speeds of around 20 MPH. (Note, if you intend to operate your cart legally on public streets, to be compliant it must not exceed 20 MPH.)

What is the warranty?

We offer a 2 month warranty labor for parts we install.

For carts with stock batteries, we sell the carts as-is with no battery warranty.

For carts with new batteries we installed as an authorized dealer, we offer a 90 day warranty on labor. The manufacturer warranty is registered to you as the cart owner and varies between manufacturers.
